| Heather Garrigus |
| |
Heather has been helping people in achieving their health and fitness goals for the past 15 years. Staying active and working out has always been a part of her life. She started teaching group exercise while in college and personal training while in Law School. Wanting to learn more about biomechanics, she attended RTS in Oklahoma City. Since then, the passion for the study of biomechanics and exercise exploded. She felt that leaving the law field behind and becoming a part of the fitness industry would really allow her to make an impact on people’s lives. Her ultimate goal was to open her own studio and that became a reality in 2005 when she opened up the doors of Sculpt®. It has ever since been evolving. After a trip to L.A., she discovered SPX and instantly fell in love. So when the opportunity arose for a second studio, she knew that SPX would be a big part of it.
Heather has her B.B.A. from the University of Kentucky and her J.D. from South Texas College of Law. She is a certified personal trainer, group exercise and pilates instructor and Muscle Activation Techniques specialist. Her certifications include, but are not limited to: ACE, AFAA, RTS, NASM, SPX, PHI Pilates, IMX, TRX, Muscle Activation Techniques, CPR, Spinning, Power Plate.
